The Pokmon Company knows people will use its characters to make fan art, so it call dibs on using and revamping the ones that go viral or look really good

Its a nice change and also reflects how the holofoil patterns are in Japan, so having the cards appear more uniform is ultimately a good thing, in my opinion, even if it takes a bit of getting used to
